THIS IS THE CUTEST THING ANY CAT HAS EVER DONE
time to admit it, pokemon has taken over my life… /(┳Д┳)/
IMPORTANT: Train operator didn’t kick the kid in the head. He softened the impact instead!
The train operator risked breaking his leg while putting it in between of the hard metallic edge and kid’s head in order to soften the impact.
Edit: Thanks for getting this into the frontpage. All I wanted is that those who called the train conductor/engineer a “douchebag” yesterday would see it from different perspective, that’s why I felt it is important to share this thought.
Seemed like an important thing to share, especially because I instinctively judged the train operator as well before I saw it. If he hadn’t done that, you probably would have heard this guy’s story from the news article of his hospitalization… or his obituary.
MAX GOT EDUCATED AND IS MORE THAN OKAY WITH THAT
i figured as much bc you can hear him shout out like “hey” before it happens
kitten wiggles ears while eating
i don’t even care if i reblog this twice a day every single day for the rest of my life
Oh man, I’m really surprised so many people haven’t heard about this?
You can read more about it here (warning, pretty graphic details of sexual assault), but basically he has been accused of raping a 17 year old boy back in the 90s. If these allegations prove to be true, he’s a scummy, scummy dirtbag asshole piece of trash that deserves to be locked up.
It’s just… wow, I expected Tumblr to be ALL over this. This is a community that brings light to a lot of horrible things and abuses of power. Raping an underage teen is, uh, kind of in the category. When I first read the story, I expected it to be smeared all over this site, but like I’ve said, I’ve only seen TWO posts.
Is it because Bryan Singer is a well loved director? Because people are excited for the new X-Men movie? I’m confused. Are people uncomfortable talking about it because they fear wanting to see an anticipated film will be equated with condoning child abuse?
We’ll have to see how this all plays out, but again, I’m surprised that I haven’t heard a PEEP about this on Tumblr.
(FYI, The Usual Suspects is one of my favourite films. I want to watch the new X-Men movie because hundreds of people have poured love and effort into it, not just one (potential) scumbag. This sort of discussion is a very difficult and uncomfortable one to have, but it’s worth having. )
PS: Whatever the truth may be, I am disgusted by all of the victim blaming I’ve seen. Viciously attacking the character of someone speaking out about abuse only makes others feel uncomfortable to do so. I don’t fucking care if you want to watch X-Men without feeling guilty, DON’T VICTIM BLAME.
it IS weird considering how everyone was ready to boycott ender’s game for scott card’s homophobiaChrist, I had forgotten about that. Good point!
oh my fucking god
